Vaccinations for Children
Vaccinations for children has become such an interesting topic over the last couple of years. Some parents are for vaccinations and other parents are totally against the idea. In today’s society, it is becoming more common for a parent to not have their children receive vaccinations. There are a handful of parents that say it is not safe for a child to receive so many doses of medicine at one time, so they opt out of giving their child the required vaccines. Although some parents strongly believe that vaccinating is not necessary, is it really okay for the child to never receive the vaccination at all?

Research has shown that it is absolutely safe for a newborn to receive all the vaccinations that are required. Newborns are protected by maternal antibodies while in the womb, but they …show more content…

The CDC recommends that you always have children vaccinated on time, so that nothing can possible go wrong. They also recommend parents to request an immunization chart from the local state health department. The CDC makes a schedule to ensure that children are receiving the correct shots during the correct times of the year. The chart is updated every year to make sure that everything is correct and children can stay healthy. Vaccinating is so important that there is a whole week, April 21-28, dedicated to getting children vaccinated. Vaccinations are not meant to hurt you, they are only out there to help you. Vaccinations were created to help a child take on the world, and be healthy. Parents should never opt out of giving a child the required vaccines, but maybe they should talk with their child’s doctor to come up with a different vaccine schedule that still provides the required vaccines, however in a more gradual
