Recommended: Both online education and traditional classroom setting advantages and disadvantages

All students should have equal opportunities to learn. Some schools offer online or video classes for students to learn at home. Kids that have illnesses, disabilities, or who move around frequently would greatly benefit from online classes. All schools should have online classes offered for students learning at home. Classes on the web have fewer obstacles for learning, let kids go at their own pace, and the online classes have no set school year.
Obstacles for learning make it hard for a kid to learn. Many kids get distracted at school by other kids, sports, or even teachers. Sometimes transportation to school can be an obstacle if the child misses the bus, and has no other way to get to school. The weather can be a huge hurdle to get over because school is sometimes canceled if extreme weather conditions are dangerous. Annoying students, early busses, and pesky snow days can all be obstacles in a child's education, but with online school students face very little obstacles that make learning difficult. Online school also benefits kids how learn at a slower or faster pace.

If a child is out because she is sick or injured she will not have to worry about missing class or catching up on work because with no dead-line on the school year her work will be right where she left it. Students without a calendar dictated by when they are out of school benefits the students and their family. If a kid needs to take off from school for a vacation or misfortune they can. A student who wants to graduate early can also benefit from no set school year because he can take summer classes and get finished with his school work quicker.
