I strongly believe health is the most important thing in our lives and therefore, everybody should take care of their health. Our daily lifestyle can have a huge effect on our health. For example, I live a sedentary lifestyle with no exercise at all. As a result, I am gaining weight and I don’t feel energetic at all. I rarely eat any junk food but I always feel lazy to do exercise. I know it is harmful for my health and if I continue to live like that I might become obese within couple of years. I feel that I just need a little exercise every day that can give me stamina as well as a nice body shape. However, I really have no time for myself because I am overwhelmed with my college courses and my job. I need to manage my work as well as maintain a healthy life. Therefore, I decided to change my habit. To fulfill my desire, I set up a goal. I am going to exercise regularly to lose weight and lead a healthy life. I really want to start exercising from October 20, 2015 for 4 weeks. Therefore, I decided to take help from her if I cannot do certain exercise. So, she will be my coach for 4 weeks and she will help me out with all the obstacles I may face to do the exercises. At home, my mom will be my cheerleader. I am really comfortable talking to her and she always gives me good suggestions and motivates me in doing great things. That is why, I strongly fell she is the best person to serve that role. I decided to walk with my mom so that I can enjoy walking. In America alone, only about 51% of Americans exercise 3 or more times a week, and 18% exercise only 1 to 2 times a week (Shy). 30% of American sadly doesn’t do any type of extracurricular activity or exercise at all (Blackburn). Have you ever wondered how some athletes have gotten so good at a certain sport? Have you ever thought about what they did in order for them to get this good? For some the answer is simple; workout and train. But for others the answer is different; the use of performance enhancing drugs such as steroids. There are some people that argue that steroids should be legalized and allowed in professional sports. Other people argue that steroids should not be allowed. Exercise is very beneficial to everyone that wants to stay fit and to keep their health in good shape for the future. I know many people that work out just thirty minutes a day and eat healthy and they are in the greatest shape of their life. So during the times you feel fat and lazy and just do not want to get up off the couch. Think if you go to your nearest gym and workout for thirty minutes to an hour you will feel so much better with yourself, and have so much energy throughout your day.
