Climate change affects everyone believe it or not. It has a major affect on how we live our lives, and many others. Changing climate not only changes our lives but all the animals who live on this earth too. The polar bears of the arctic are increasingly becoming extinct due to rising temperatures. There are many reasons for the changing environment, involving the greenhouse effect, sun flares, and the hole in the ozone layer. Measures are needed to stop climate change because with the increase of temperatures, pollution levels, and the hole in the ozone layer the human population could seize to exist in 1000 years.

In the past ten years, climate change has grown to be a major issue in many countries making the inhabitant wear face masks when outside. “Climate change was not a political issue until the 1990’s, although the greenhouse warming theory has been around for more than a century” (Araos). Previous attempts to solve pollution and global warming have involved using alternate sources of power, like wind, water, and solar energy. Of course if those ideas were working we would not still be looking for solutions. The renewable energy sources have only reduced the pollution by a small amount, we still have quite a bit to go before we reach our goal for safe air. …show more content…
