Detroit was built for 108 years ago by the French explorer and his
team. The civilization of Detroit was developed from the automobile.
Becoming the center of automobile industry made Detroit’s economy
grown rapidly, there were many immigrants from other cities came to get
a job. In 1950, there were almost 2 million people in Detroit. Finally
Detroit became the most important and the largest city in Michigan.
Life in this city must be extremely fantastic , because in the daytime
I could stroll around the city. I might visit the art museum then had a
lunch at
night, not necessarily to get into trouble, but mostly to explore everything the city had to offer.
With this in mind, Chicago is a wonderful place to visit and live, however it does have it light and dark side. Millions of people visited Chicago for it cultural events, annual festivals, to walk, jog, or ride a bike along the lakefront. Visit the Planetarium, museums, Art Institute or ride up to the 103rd floor of Willis Tower. Take in a movie go shopping down Michigan Ave, or State Street. Nevertheless, be careful of the dangers hidden in some of the neighborhoods in Chicago.
Music and Art are two important factors in a society. They are apart of a neighborhood's History. They show how a community has lived, and what was important to the people and how they lived. The Art and Music during certain time periods can show how that community has grown and how it developed. There were many important artist and musician that played a big role in how Detroit, Michigan grew. They also had a big impact on the society of Detroit. Till this day those Artist and Musicians still have an impact on Detroit.

Some Michigan Heroes can be people that helped you in life or helped you succeed in life. My Michigan Hero is someone that raised me, taught me everything I know in life today. This person is my idol, that gave me a hand when I needed one, or told me to keep my head up and never look down. I wouldn’t know what to do in life if this person wasn’t in it.
An hour wasn’t enough to peruse all the art galleries, browse the charming little boutiques and intake historical facts tucked away all around the city like there is no tomorrow.

My Michigan is an old teacher of mine his name is Mr. Stem, he was my science and math teacher for 5th grade,, I had trouble mostly in math and he knew i was good at it so if he knew I needed help he would help me understand what we were doing in class same with science, if i ever needed help with either of the subjects i knew he would be there to help me just like any teacher would, he was a really approachable teacher even outside of school you could walk up to him and he would help you if you needed it, last year he retired and I am happy he was one of the teacher that I had to help me through Math and Science in 5th grade which made 5th grade so much easier because he was so approachable and easy going. I was in Ohio when I first came to America as an Chinese exchange student, I live in a little town surrounded by endless corn fields, basically in the middle of nowhere. I went to a small public high school, which has only 2 Chinese students, including me. All of a sudden my world is completely changed, nothing from my old days is left, and I’m totally not ready for that. I got so homesick, I began to miss everything about China, people, food, and of course, language. That’s probably the reason why I was so eager to speak Chinese every time I meet the other Chinese girl.

When I went to Wisconsin,Dells,the atmosphere was great..Being there was like being in Ohio. I traveled to Wisconsin,Dells with my step dad’s family..At first,I didn’t to go,but I wanted to experience another state other than Ohio.I had the chance to experience the new state of Wisconsin that had been totally different from the state of Ohio.
Going on this trip would be a very cool experience and I would be extremely thankful if I got this scholarship. My mom always talks about what cool things I may see if I went on the trip. Also, she talks about what amazing monuments there could be and what cool things we may hear about. We knew from the beginning we heard about the Washington DC trip we were going to go, but then we ran into some problems. My sister was got ill and she kind of ran into some problems with herself which caused problems with us.
