Personal Narrative: The Bullying Community

In the community, bullying happens every day, no matter the reason. One day it could be for the stereotypical lunch money, and another day it could be just for the bully’s amusement. How can it stop? That’s the real question here. There are procedures to prevent bullying, but in the long run it won’t help. However, permanent reduction of the bullying community is possible, however it’s very difficult. Bullies may grow up to be great people, respectable even. Yet that doesn’t fix what they did in the past. It stays with them. In fact, I still remember the person that bullied me’s name. I won’t list it here, for obvious privacy reasons, but I think that after the second grade, he really learned something. He and his group of friends would bully me everyday. I was never intimidated, but it still had to stop. When my teacher eventually found out, the bully and I were called to the office. I was let free. I wondered why, since I was really the main part in that whole thing, but I found out pretty soon. As soon as I exited the elementary office, I heard a loud scream, followed by the bully running out crying. I knew that it had to be a paddling. That’s the only way that I’ve seen to get rid of bullies. Paddling. Now, while I don’t agree with the paddling process, there’s no denying that it helps.
