My One Life Lesson in Sports Medicine Class Sports Medicine and I have always had a fine relationship. I love the subject for a variety of reasons: I like to learn about how the body functions and I would always watch medical shows which interested me in science even more. However, in the beginning of the semester I was doing fine and getting all A’s but at the end of semester two, I started slacking off. I took sports medicine class in my senior years in high school. Sports medicine consisted five classes: Physiology, Anatomy, and Health Essential, and Nutrition. We were supposed to study overnight for a test or a quiz the next day, but I never did that in second semester due to thinking that I will do fine without studying. Thus, I struggled in Sports medicine in second semester of high school and in the process learned an important truth about myself. I signed up for Sports Medicine during my junior year in high school, hoping to learn new things that would help me in my future career and impatient to prove to myself that I’m smart enough to do well in class. It did affect my GPA a little which also affected my HOPE scholarship. I was targeting for a full scholarship but I ended up with half scholarship. That situation made me realize that I can’t slack off anymore in class. I ended up making a study plan which will help in the future. Furthermore, the teacher got fired for a lot of students and teachers file complements. I was happy to hear that because I didn’t want other students that are thinking about signing up for the class go through what I had to go through in that class. Overall, my study plan helped me a lot and I decided to not let the same situation happen to me in
