What can relationships with your life? What if it could involve you in a good or bad relationship? This was effected in these fictional books, One for the Murphy by Lynda Hunt and Maze Runner by James Dashner, both prove that relationships can have the impact on your life. Carley from One for the Murphy has a Stepfather who is not nice. He gets arrested so Clearly goes to a nice foster family. Thomas from the Maze Runner is brought to a big maze with teen boys he does not know and he is very coarse so he breaks the rule. Relationships, good or bad, can leave a good or bad impacts on your life. Bad relationships can leave a bad impact on your life. Carley was having a good time with the Murphy but there will be a time when she has to leave. Carley says to Mrs. Murphy “You’ve been mine, ya know. Hero, I mean. Hope we will see each other again” ( Hunt 184). Carley Connors loved living with the Murphy to the point she asked Mrs. Murphy if Carley can call her mom. Carley played games with the boys of the family and got along well. Carley made a best friend at school Toni. They would hang out almost every day and have fun together. Carley's stay at the Murphys would not last forever and she would have to live with her mom again not knowing how her mom would treat her. Thomas and Teresa first showed up and everybody thought she was bad since they thought she knew Thomas. When she was in a coma she said Thomas’s name. The outcome of this was, Teresa helped Thomas and others get out of the maze. Everyone was trusting Thomas until the girl showed up because Thomas did things that they thought were impossible. Carley had to leave a family she love and Thomas lost his trust from a girl who he did not
