Odysseus's Epic Hero

95 Words1 Page

Another occasion Odysseus demonstrates his epic hero features is when Odysseus and his crew travel to the Lotus-Eaters in which the natives give three of Odysseus's men the intoxicating fruit of the lotus. Therefore, Odysseus uses his epic hero qualities to tie up the men under a bench on the ship, so they don't jump off. Furthermore, Odysseus exemplifies his epic hero qualities by not just illustrating that he is cunning but also by showing that he has uncommon strength, and the reader can see this when Odysseus has to tie up the three men.
