These observations and analysis of individual group members work and actions allows for reflection, constructive criticism and what it implies for our group as a whole. Over the last few classes I noticed that I took the role of leader, overstepping my boundaries and almost becoming bossy towards other members of my group. I do not deny this, but I will not deny putting my foot down to make sure the group was on the right track. I took on the role of leader-as-coach because I came up and showed people how things should be done. I never ordered anyone around. That I made sure of, because Swen was leader, and took on the more of the non-verbal communication between the group that kept everyone happy. With such high expectations there was never a moment where he didn 't need to be playing peace keeper. John on the other hand was the glue of the group, keeping people together without even realising it. Applying the comic relief when it was due, John kept us sane throughout this last portion of the
