Everyday athletes all around the world get ready for a game day it is a time that they have been working for their whole week of practice. No matter the sport every single athlete always want an opportunity with the game in the balance to make a huge play and win the game for there team it is a dream that so many people have no matter what level a athlete is at whether it be professional, college or even just high school sports. Having the chance to single handedly be a main reason for a win or even the “hero” of the game so to speak is something that for a athlete is like being a little kid on christmas morning waking up and finding a whole bunch of presents under the tree that santa left you when you were little. It was just a dog fight and when it was thirty seconds left found ourselves down and trying to make a play. We got the ball down one and our guard shot the ball and missed but I was able to get to get a rebound and put up a shot while getting fouled in the process. When going to the line for two shots you clue feel the anticipation in the air but also could see people nervous faces it was like a sea of nervousness, but I wasn’t really scared this was my moment to be able and be the hero and put my team up with not much time left. When I shot my first free throw I would miss the shot and I could feel the disappointment that everyone had in the gym it was like getting stabbed in the heart because everyone knows that it makes trying to hit the second shot even harder because of the pressure. I was able then to hit the second shot and tie the game up which was huge there was only about eighteen seconds left and as the other team was trying to score quick I was able to take a charge and give the ball back to my team with ten seconds to go and then we were able to score and win the game. It was a feeling like no other to know that you made the plays to change the game and help us
