Senior year. The year known for its “lasts” of everything and the start of one 's adulthood. It’s also a busy part of life- college applications, college acceptance, graduation, and even get to know what the terminal disease “senioritis” feels like. Senior year is the last year that I will get the chance to cheer on the football team every Friday night, running track every Thursday, as well as seeing my favorite teachers on a day to day basis. This year is my year, the year that is going to change everything that I have ever known. I am determined to set reachable goals, accomplish what I plan to do, stay focus and determined and mainly, to find myself and to know my purpose. Senior year comes with joy but is partnered with heartbreak. I will have to face many challenges, some seeming impossible to come over, but I will stay determined and will persevere. I will not let my senior year get the best of me. I plan to give it my all and make memories that will last a lifetime. Also, senior year is known to set off plenty of emotions, in which I will be victim of. “For senior year is for the tears. Facing the fears. Loudening the cheers. You find out how close you are to some, and how far away you are from others. You’ll have your lasts and get ready for the firsts. Then look back on it and remember it forever.” - Unknown. Senior year is the year full of memories, some bad and some good. But, I will forever cherish these because I will never get a chance to do this again. Senior year is the year I will learn to take risks, have fun, focus on my future and everything it holds. I have 9 months left of being a kid, 9 months before I spring into adulthood. It is the year full of changes-whether or not I actually want them to happen. This is the year that will be filled with some hard goodbyes and generous hellos.
