Literacy is the ability to read and write that makes us aware of our surrounding environment and situation. It is dynamic and complicated but helps us to make good personal decisions. An important thought that comes to my mind is understanding of it, I feel that without the ability to read and write, human being is unable to properly function, because there is no foundation for satisfactory communication. Everyone has some moment which have the potential to influence the craft of understanding that directly has the undying impression for the lifetime. At that time, as I remember learned to identify letters (A, B, C, D…) in the Pre-primary school which was always difficult and frustrating for me, because as a child I used to think it the time of play and fun. My fresh mind was unknown about the importance of education during those days but according to my mom I was always a reading way above average in school and home. I think after one years at the time of grade one I started to write letters (A, B, C….) and numbers (1, 2, 3…). Later on, when I was introduced with forming sentences and saw my sister who read anytime I realized I also have to read because my family was well-educated family. For some the first time I found my attention centralized completely was when I was in my high school. I was going through ‘the Ramayan’which was spoiling me completely through its interesting yet challenging events. I was so intrigued by atrocities inflicted on lord Ram and the way he dealt with the situation in a very calm yet intelligent manner. I thought the characters and the events was so skillfully depicted was the portrayal of character was so unique. I was mesmerized by the reading and writing process that I saw the potential of writing to be so powerful that could make the anyone into it within matter of time. That was the clear picture I remember that helped me gain the intellectual consciousness which helped me improved my literacy into bigger heights. Finally, I was at college when I had pleasure of getting into zone that I was unable to discover. I was moved by the philosophical exmeantension of poetry that was like giving a Midas touch to something ordinary and turning it to something out of league and creating something extraordinary. I find meaning into words. I was developing the character and reading stuff that could enhance the strength and make it invincible but I couldn’t find the emotional tone through which I could evoke the underlying and unseen motivation .it was poetry that helped me visit those teriority and create
