No matter what cause your leading you must be able to other to not only follow but believe in you and your cause. Inspire then so that they see the same goal/dream as you. You can invite other in by being genuine, original, new, or having the ability to put a fresh spin on old issues. No one wants to hear the same old solution for every problem. People are willing to try new and daring thing if they have the right leadership, this is why inspire so vital to good leadership.
Therefore, good leaders should know who they are and have a clear understanding of their own strengths and weaknesses. They must lead with honesty and purpose convincing others that they are worthy of being followed. Real leaders stand on principles and are unwilling to compromise those principles for power, money, or status. Leaders are not just born although some people do have an innate gift for leadership. However, good leaders are willing to learn and discover new ideas recognizing their limitations and weaknesses.
It doesn’t matter what you do, leadership has an impact on your life in some way or another. To me, the definition of leadership would be a person who chooses to lead. Someone who is confident in there decisions, works well with others and it capable of motivating people to take on tasks that they might normally find impossible. They also have to be someone that people respect and would be willing to listen to. Leadership also means that you have to take a risk.
Leadership is not about having a title, big office, or having followers. Successful leadership is about having the courage to make the right choices, engage others in your vision and empowering followers to pursue choices for the common good. A great leader will leave an impact on their followers that will last a lifetime. My personal leadership philosophy is shaped by considering various factors, of which the first would be knowledge of one’s self. A leader must know and understand their core values such as, authenticity, passion, service, humor, growth and learning.
The reason for this is, I know that motivation can go a long way. You Are encouraging others to believe in themselves and their abilities. Once you do that, you will a person that will walk in his or her purpose or strengths. Thus, helping you to achieve the goals that you have set out to accomplish without doing all the work yourself. The strength of this type of leadership is; it allows the leader to look at what is important to the subordinates as well, it defines the task in a clear manor so that the goal the is desired has a clear path to be reached.
It’s about bringing the right decision that is respected by all. Lastly to respect and to be respected is one of the most reputed attribute of a leader and should be followed by all so that they create positive leadership.
At some point in each person life, they will be required to lead others. For some this can be an exciting thought, while for others it can provoke fear and questions of capability. No matter a person’s reaction to this inevitable reality the unanimous response would be that generally people want to lead others well. In order to be prepared to lead people it is valued for a person to know what qualities can be found in an effective leader. Important characteristics a good leader has been shown to possess are being caring, innovative, and responsible.

Each of us has their own needs and wants (these motives is the first step of motivation), which makes us tick. To be quite frank, if we do the things wrong these ticks will not bring to us benefits, in that way we need a leader who guides us to the right way. Leadership is the ability of an individual to influence, motivate, and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organization.
