Midsummer Night's Dream, “love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind” and “though she be but little, she is fierce”. The play and movie version both had different things they did a good job at. Such as, the movie had good special effects, while, the play made everything look realistic. The story, “Midsummer Night's Dream”, is about different characters and the drama they are going through. The story has romance, fantasy, comedy, and drama. Furthermore, the story was full of magical things that really helped bring out the fantasy of the story. Both the movie and the play were interesting and had actors who did a good job at acting. Even though Some people think, the play was better because it was in reality, so you could feel and hear everything better, the movie had stronger special effects. Also, it brought the story to life. For example, some special effects the movie had that the play didn't were the fairies and the magic around them. On the other hand, the play was in reality, so everything we saw felt more realistic. The movie was better because of the special effects it had. However, the play was also good because of it being in reality, meaning you could really interact with the character's more. …show more content…

In the movie, the character Titania's costume was magical and it definitely helped bring out the fantasy of the story. But, in the play Titania's costume seemed more realistic it didn't have magic or any special effects. In my opinion, the movie version was better because of how the characters costume looked they all looked magical. Even though, the play made everything look real the play didn't make anything look magical or like a fantasy and that's what the story is based on
