As of the economic issue it has made impacts on adults because it does take effect on their personal income. The types of measurable costs are direct costs and indirect costs. For example, one in five people in the state of Canada experience a mental health illnesses and it effects everyone in some way. About 6.7 million people live with a mental health problem today. They hit early in people’s lives. There is strong evidence that has been invested in some effective programs that can make a difference to Canada’s economy and the populations health. Small business owners remain divided on the issues and some are empathetic under the fair work act shows discrimination is taking advantage of someone in their workplace because of physical or mental disability. It is very important for everyone to know that you can get there in the end and triumph over your mental health condition. It’s never too late to get help. Self-care should come into consideration because a potential employee’s workplace policy can support that some adjustments are available, and an open discussion can help an employee receive assistance in their role. In the year of 2001 WHO declared in that year of metal health and that year’s world health day was an enormous success. Over 150 countries had organized major activities that includes speeches by political leaders and the beginning of the new mental health programs. This simply means that mental health has been neglected for too long. It’s been overall too crucial for individuals, countries, and should be recompensed in a new light. There are four strategies that aim at closing the gap between the people who do and do not receive treatment. Strategy one is increasing and upgrading information about making decisions and making technology transfers to increase the countries capacity. WHO is collecting information about the vastness and the burden of mental disorders around the world and the resources that respond to the burden. The next strategy is raising awareness through education and advocacy to receive more respect of human rights. This means that family members, leaders of religious groups, and business organizations are all enthusiastic about making activities happens for the improvement of mental health conditions. Strategy three is helping countries in designing policies and helping develop comprehensive and effective mental health services. Putting plans in action.
