During this week, we were discussing both love and sexuality. I thought that both of the topics went along quite well. For most of the weeks in this term, we focused more in close interpersonal relationships. And, I thought that it would be quite interesting to explore different kinds of relationships like friendship, relationships at a business or formal setting, or a relations at college with peers. There was a particular section from the reading that interested me as they discussed about friendship. I think that friendship is another crucial relationship that has different spectrums like an intimate relationship. I was very surprised to discover that there are rules in friendship. When I was a kid, I always thought that rules make the foundations of friendship very strong. Whenever, I made friends during elementary school we used to set rules at the beginning. It is very funny as I remember that with one of my friends I made an agreement and contract for our friendship. The reason we did that was because the other friend did not liked both of us being friends. And, we thought that the contract and agreement would make it more

When I think about this shift, it is very interesting how I as a friend have changed over time. Especially, the values and interests that each phase of life brings us at a certain age is very interesting. I also think that sometimes our value for friendship changes drastically when we are in a relationship. From my personal experience, I have seen that when I am in a relationship, I care less about my friends as compared to now when I am not committed in a relationship, I feel that I have a good flow of friendship. While, I have observed that when some people are in a relationship, they balance everything very well. I wonder that when one is in that kind of a situation, they do not prioritize their relationships so
