Nowadays, a high crime of violence is being lived. Believe or not it has been increasing mass shooting, homicides, rape and gun shooting (“The Washington Post.”) This is done by relatives, children, and friends and by any kind of human being. Most of the time people shut up what is happening to them and sometimes you think it is okay to yell at someone when you don’t know what is going on through their mind. Many people take this as something normal that has no consequences. Like for example videos on the social media as Facebook and Twitter, post videos of people fighting, mothers or fathers hitting their children and there are people around but they are not able to stop what is happening and because of those things is why the levels of violence …show more content…

A June 2016 article in The New York Times entitled “Control and Fear: What Mass Killings and Domestic Violence Have in Common” is that people who commit this kind of crime as killing mass, have a history of domestic violence(Taub). Most of the crimes for example Taub states, “One of the first things we learned about Omar Mateen, the gunman in the nightclub massacre in Orlando, Fla., was that his ex-wife said he had beaten her severely until she left him in 2009.” Taub also points that domestic violence hints an investigative question that can be what drives individuals to commit such mass attacks? Another example of domestic violence is this new from “USA today” that says a Michigan player has been charged with physically assaulting to his girlfriend. One of the most common examples of emotional abuse is bullying. “The Girls Guide to End Bullying” an internet page that shows us different ways that bullying can be committed and it can be by: calling names, teasing, putdowns and cruel criticism. Most of the people who bullies others is because by doing that they can feel superior over the victim or just because the person that is committing the act feels frustration about something, maybe they are being victim of the same and wants to do the same to other people. Another point of view besides the bullying, people who suffer emotionally abuse are afraid to tell the truth because the offender can easily dominate the victim saying that she or he is the only thing that they have in life and that the fights would be over and the victim believes that. Barrie Davenport published an article, “30 signs of emotional abuse” in which mention 30 signs that you can identify when someone is going through some emotional abuse. One of those signs is: “They humiliate you, put you down, or make fun of you in front of other people.” And is just to feel superior at you, that they know they can do whatever they one because at the end the lies
