The life of innocent children and/or even adults are taken everyday due to violent situations that the victims usually have nothing to do with. This is a problem because the insanity only becomes worse. Is violence being taught through media related programs? What should we do about the increase of gun violence? Well, if we make changes, this problem can be limited or even nonexistent. Violence presented in the media has been questioned by many for years if there is a strong correlation that produces more violent members of society.According to Kaplan, 2 teenage boys who murdered 12 schoolmates and a teacher and injured 21 others at Columbine High School in Colorado before killing themselves, lived in a pathological environment. Their lives centered around violent video games. This could been avoided if the children didn't have such easy access to violence. Therefore, a step in the right the path would be limiting youths exposure to violence.
Premature deaths are only the half of the problem, police brutality, followed by gangbanging and public shootouts which are also apart of the problem. One of the most memorable incidents due to gun violence is the Sandy Hook shooting where 26 people died in total (20 children and 6 staff members). With this plan, you must go through mandatory training and licensing along with safe and secure-gun storage. This also eliminates accidents due to the misuse of guns by educating people on how you use them. This will also educate people on guns in general. The process may also convince people that they do not want to invest in a gun because of the long process. Yet, people will rely on the streets to get supplied with a gun, which will make the rate of incarceration higher, yet the world will be a little safer. Therefore, this solution would be a great
