Kinnow is the most important commercial fruit grown in all over the world. Kinnow (citrus reticulata) citrus species belongs to the family Rutaceae. It is highly valueble for its exceptional nutritional and medicinal properties in all most the world. Common names for Varieties name of citrus species include sweet lemon , sweet lime, mediterranean and sweet limetta . Mainly kinnow fruits areused by juice processing industries while the peels and seeds are almost time totally wasted. (Manthey and Grohmann, 2001) reported that ,very huge amounts of by product fruit wastes such as peels and seeds are waste every year because the juice yield of citrus is less mainly half of the fruit weight. Other major citrus producing countries are Spain, USA, Israel, South Africa, Japan, Brazil, Turkey and Cuba. It occupies third position after mango and banana in the production of fruits in India. Citrus fruits were originated in the tropical and sub-tropical regions of South East. Citrus fruits grown in India, mainly orange (santra or mandarin), sweet orange (mosambi, malta or satgudi) and lime/lemon are of commercial importance.
