Is the internet making kids smarter? This is a question that many people have. Research has proven that, yes, the internet is making kids smarter and better academic wise. The areas that the web benefits the most are increases in reading, writing, and social skills. These are all very important skills that children need to obtain as early as they can. If kids are using the internet the right way, they are being benefited without even knowing that they are.
Despite fueling an age of technological marvels, the Internet is often derided as being as harmful to humanity as it is helpful. These options enable students to connect with other students and share useful information and learn about various regions, cultures and customs across the globe. Teen students who use social media often claim that interacting with others online have made them more confident, sensitive, sympathetic and less shy. The internet enables kids to know about the difference between reliable information and misinformation. As for the way we define intelligence, it may be time to consider people's willingness to solve complex problems as a key ingredient of IQ. Consider the following: technology will continue to evolve and the gap between what can be solved with and without it will only increase. By using the internet frequently, children learn to think critically and find out useful information from the internet. Improved social skills, using email and instant messaging appropriately can help children strengthen their social skills.
