Under her brilliant direction, Taymor’s film adaptation of William Shakespeare’s play, Titus Andronicus, would put a wicked smile on the Bard’s if he were still alive today. “Vengeance is in my heart, death in my hand, blood and revenge are hammering in my head” (II, iii, 38-39).
