My hard work, dedication, and motivation make me unique in what I have to offer to the JSA cabinet. I am very hard working. I will work countless hours for JSA if I am accepted into cabinet. I am willing to stay up all night to properly perform my cabinet duties. I am willing to go the extra mile to ensure that all JSAers have a fun time at overnight conventions. My dedication to JSA also makes me unique. I have been involved with my high school’s JSA since its founding in 2013. I have spent countless hours to help my chapter grow. I have recruited many of my friends (including Karl Meakin, former Gubernatorial Chief of Staff) to join the Cheshire JSA chapter and have encouraged them to apply for cabinet and stay involved in the organization. …show more content…

First, I am a collaborative and cooperative worker. I work well with others. I will always listen to others’ ideas on cabinet and contribute my own ideas as well. I will never argue with another member of cabinet. Second, my creativity will be contributed to cabinet. My creativity will help the cabinet think of unique solutions to problems. Third, I am open to feedback and criticism. As a member of cabinet, a person must be able to take criticism well and be open to suggestions. I am always open to criticism as I see it as a way to improve. Fourth, my organization skills will help contribute to the efficiency of my department. I will always set deadlines for my projects. My department will always be organized. Organization is important for a department to run efficiently. Lastly, I have a strong work ethic, which will contribute to cabinet. I am a perfectionist. I will work countless hours to make things perfect. I will always work hard to get things done. I will always check my work and others to make sure there are no mistakes. I am hard working. For JSA this year, I spend countless hours ensuring that all three overnight conventions ran smoothly. On the chapter level, I spent hours finding transportation to and from one-day events and organizing club meetings. Second, I am an honest person. A leader needs to be honest to the people he or she is serving. Furthermore, I possess good communication skills. A leader must be able to communicate with the people around them. As the Young Democrats Vice President, I was in constant communication with our members, Democratic candidates, and the press. I truly believe that I possess all the qualities needed to be a fantastic leader. My peers have seen that I have leadership capabilities.
