Recommended: Essay on what is christian leadership

Jack Hanes remarkable book Manifesto intrigues readers for its ability to equip disciples to become radical believers for Jesus. This entire book focuses on the aspects of becoming a radical Christ follower. Through these chapters Hanes uses simple acronyms to catch the reader's eyes that will draw the reader into depth understanding of each chapter. For example, one of the chapters “Stand” represents Strategy for offense, Try to see God’s hand in all things, Answer the what questions, Never quit, and Don’t have anything to go back to. These acronyms will draw the reader's eyes into engagement with the book. Also, Hanes content is well organized and simple to follow. He simply uses scriptures to give reference to his content. Through these five new insights, each of them has prospered my life, and I am willing to help others get the same benefit. From the chapter fighting the devil I have learned to face him. Withstanding him is important to win a fight, especially with God is on the inside of me. Jesus faced the devil with scripture and won. In ministry I will encourage my small group people to do the same thing. Secondly, through the chapter of how to start my day is to realize how blessed I am, and give thanks to God because I am blessed. I am alive today to proclaim His name again. Through LTG I will encourage and show my friends value of doing so as well. Every morning is a good morning because “His mercies are new every morning” Lamentations 3:22-23. Another insight I really enjoyed is hearing God. This applies to me in this season because hearing from God is important. Jesus did not do anything unless He heard the Father speak. During this chapter I was reminded about that scripture and Psalms 46:10. We need to position ourselves to receive from God. This will be a tremendous encouragement for leaders in ministry. Also, adding value to one’s life is important. We can add value through our words, gifts, and presence. Adding value will increase someone's identity in Christ. Let’s speak life to people, it will create their reality around life giving
