Debating Shakespeare's Relevance in 9th Grade Curriculum

Most people may have different perspectives on Shakespeare. Some may even think that he shouldn't be taught in 9th grade curriculum. But everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and believe that he should still be taught. There are even several articles debating whether he should still be taught in the 9th grade. They just go to show how relevant he still is today and how well known he is globally and also a good point of view on why he shouldn't be in 9th grade curriculum. I believe Shakespeare should still be in the 9th grade curriculum. Some people are asking themselves and others whether Shakespeare is still relevant today. “These are not plays we read and see together as a generation or a country. They’re works we enjoy as a species. He inspires many globally around the world. “The emotional effect the play had on its audience was clear during the performance, many had their eyes filled with tears and it showed how outside forces can shake conflict and divide groups of people and reflect the head of unity.” This quote just goes to show how a single play written by Shakespeare can change people. It changed people's perspectives on how to act towards people and what to say. This just adds onto how Shakespeare is still relevant and how he should still be in 9th grade criteria. “We read Shakespeare because it expands upon and improves the readers writing ability, we may not use the same language as one playwright but it helps us achieve greater language techniques.” This quote describes how Shakespeare's way of writing is brilliant and how it can improve or knowledge. Also describes how well known Shakespeare is around the globe. Although, Shakespeare should be in 9th grade curriculum, maybe not all his way of writing should be
