Intercultural communication literature

Cross-cultural communication is a field of study that looks at how people from different cultural backgrounds communicate, in similar and different ways among themselves, and how they endeavor to communicate across cultures.

Nowadays, in order to achieve effective communication it is important to understand that people of different cultures, nationalities, races and religions are really different people, which have special style of life, worldview, world perception and vision of the essence. Sometimes misunderstandings, which take place in the world as a result of ineffective communication, can lead to dangerous events, which are very often even politically motivated.

The key to effective cross-cultural potential problems of cross-cultural communication is making a conscious effort to overcome these problems. Second, it is important to assume that one’s efforts will not always be successful, and adjust one’s behavior appropriately. In that case when we just ignore the appearance of such problems, it even can rise to something catastrophic, for example, to the war. What is war?

I think that it is not difficult to understand the meaning of this word, because today, there are many films, books describe such tremendous events of the war.

War is an organized and often prolonged conflict that is carried out by states or non-state actors. It is generally characterized by extreme violence, social disruption and economic destruction. War should be understood as an actual, intentional and widespread-armed conflict between political communities, and therefore is defined as a form of political violence or intervention.

It is demonstrated on different spheres of cross-cultural relationship, such as friendship between Cossacks and Russians, based on affinity of souls of people of two cultures, which are united with a love of their native country. Secondly, the difference of two cultures and their opposition is perfectly demonstrated on the example of war, powerful Cossacks people, fighting for home and polish grade affectedness. And thirdly, real love between people of different cultures, where young Cossack sells his country for love shows that in this novel love is the only henotic factor, which makes people of absolutely different cultures really close to each other. However, from that point of view when we speak about nationalism this act is considered as a shame. So, this novel describes in details cross-cultural communication between different nations.
