Galeophobia; an extreme fear of sharks. But still to this day I ask the same question, why? Sharks are the most feared creature to roam our parallel world in which we call our oceans. With only discovering 5% of oceans there's still a lot of undiscovered facts, species and possibly new ecosystems. With influences of popular movies such as Jaws as taken its told on how we portray sharks. Vicious and blood thirsty, a negative light beamed upon these unique species which only leads me and many others frustrated. Now, don’t get me wrong the physical appearance of sharks does them no justice, with this being the main problem of why many people fear sharks. But like the famous saying, don’t judge a book by its cover, sharks have a lot more to offer
