The 19th century, with particular reference to Europe has been described as the century of hope, and Industrialization is a perfect example of hope for the 19 century because it effect the global scale and it characterization that can be sustain in the face of the entire world’s experience rather than just Europe’s. Industrialization is the period of social and economic change the transform a group of people from an agrarian social to an industrial one. This is when social and economic development is close to technology innovation with the development of high energy scale and metallurgy production. With industrialization, also came the attitudes of change toward nature and renationalization.
Industrialization first begins in Europe, but most specifically the United Kingdom of London from the 18th to the 19th century. In the 18th and the 19th, the United Kingdom experienced a huge increase in agricultural which is known as the British Agricultural Revolution; this leads to a massive population growth because of the food surplus, and people begin to reproduce more children. Due to the limited amount of land, the now increasing population could no longer be delicate to agricultural. With new agricultural techniques, a single person could feed more workers; however, the technique required the use of machine and hardware. British industrialization changes the way work was done; the creation of goods were divided into single task, each of them are mechanized to increase the income. The new machine improves the productivity of each worker.

The Holocaust also took place during the 20th century which was the persecution and murder of approximately six million Jews by the Nazi who believed the Germans were racially superior; the genocide also occurred during the 20th century when violence against members of a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group with a intent to destroy the entire group; machine guns were invented; nuclear weapon was also invented. The 20th century reverses around massive wars and the killing of millions of people. During the 19th century, inventions were created to improve the world while in the 20th century inventions were created to killed people and fight for power and land. The 20th century was a century of tragedy, there was no room for hope because there were years and years of war, death, tears, and sorrow.
