However, I would not go up to someone and tell them that they need to start kick boxing until they are prepared to take my call to action and defeat whatever it is that is holding them back in life. Instead, I would recommend that they listen to Eminem or another angry rapper while they work out and let that artist do the work. Listening to angry music while you’re exercising can simulate anger or cause you to remember something that made you angry. Then, you can take out the anger by physically exercising which releases endorphins and diminishes the negative emotion that you have now thoroughly processed. The second most persuasive appeal to me is an emotional appeal. If I were to create an emotional appeal it would have to involve something that the listener feels strongly about. People with children might be more affected by an emotional appeal that incorporates the consequences that unhealthy lifestyle has on their health. I would say something along the lines of, “a poor diet and sedentary lifestyle shortens the time that you will have with the people that you love.” Since they want to live a long time and watch their children grow up healthy, that might strike a chord with
