Adapt Evolve and Be Innovative To Survive
The process of evolution involves a series of natural changes that cause species (populations of different organisms) to arise, adapt to the environment, and become extinct over time. We as humans have adapted over thousands of years. We adapted to survive the changes, and we must adapt and evolve once again (Smithsonian, n.d.).
Most species weed out detrimental genetic mutations by natural selection. In other words, only the fittest survive long enough to reproduce. Then the offspring, of course, carry the supposedly stronger traits forward.
However, in humans, the weak have been prevented from dying out. The reason is improvements in standards of living and health care. Technology brought us to this …show more content…

It is unfortunate, but we all have put all of our eggs in one basket. One flip of a switch, one hack to many or one devastating natural disaster and our grid system could collapse.
Only the then will the fittest, the smartest and those most willing to endure the mental hardship will survive. Who really is ready, many assume they are, but.
With technology, certain so-called genetic handicaps or gene mutations can be overcome, which is why the human race is not extinct, extinct yet that is. We survive the darkness even though our eyesight is poor compared to other mammals. We have less muscle mass today because the work is being done for us by machines, by computers and in some cases, by those less fortunate than us. We can afford to have the hard work done for us in many instances due to machine automation, power tools, and so forth, not to mention vehicles.

Your dependency on technology is all-inclusive now whether you believe it or not. What happens when it goes way? Google has made us all geniuses, answers at our fingertips. Can you, can we figure and reason our way through problems without the help of the Internet, without using our phones, tablets, and computers.
