The Vietnam War was based on a man (Ho Chi Minh) want to have complete control over country of Vietnam. Ho chi Minh changed his political beliefs and was seek power for himself as rulers without any foreign help. Minh thirst for political power and territorial gain cause some of conflict in Vietnam. There was also regions conflict between Buddhist and the Roman Catholic Church.

Ho Chi Minh in 1954 became the president of North Vietnam. Minh gained popularity of North Vietnam when his troops defeated the French rulers. Minh`s Communist government of North Vietnam sent supplies and military support to benefit guerrillas in South Vietnam who was trying to abolish the anti-Communist government. The NLF established local councils groups to govern the areas controlled by Viet Cong in South Vietnam. The NLF help built factories to manufacture weapons and ammunition, to help further Viet Cong tyranny of Mekong Delta areas South Vietnam. Viet Cong was very lucky, but most of their supplies and troops came from the Northern area. They made up a system of roads and trail better known as Ho Chi Minh Tails.
