Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is a cancer of the lymphatic system where cells in that system grow abnormally and my spread beyond the lymphatic system. As Hodgkin’s progresses, it compromises the body’s ability to fight infection.
Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is characterized by progressive painless enlargement of a malignant tumor of the lymph tissue in the lymph nodes and spleen. Males are affected twice as much as females.
Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma is the classification of any type of malignant lymphoma other than Hodgkin’s Disease, including histiocytic lymphoma and lymphocytic lymphomas.
