According to Jonathan Allen and Arshad Mohammed, authors of Clinton Apologizes for Using Private Email as U.S. Secretary of State, Clinton finally apologizes for her use of a private email. Clinton has refused to apologize for her actions and has denied any wrong doing. Her actions are still under investigation by the federal bureau of investigation. Clinton still does not completely understand that by using a private email any harm was being done. However, an apology was finally issued by her. She was under much public scrutiny for how she handled private government information. There are upwards of 30,000 emails that are being looked at. These emails all hold private government information. She did not use her work email which has high government protection on them. Clinton claims that the information that was on the account was not information that was detrimental to national security. However, according to the review some of the emails did contain classified information. Even though these finding have come out, her department still does not agree with them. An article by CNN Politics explains that, “Once again Hillary Clinton laughed off questions about her secret email server even though it put our national security at risk and is being investigated by the FBI” (Clinton laughs off Christie's suggestion she could be prosecuted over email use).
