Imagine your school cafeteria plans to change to a new, healthier school lunch menu, which would eliminate some students’ favorite cafeteria foods. Schools strive to make students each healthy and change their bad habits. Most of the time healthy food do not taste as good as unhealthy food. Although it would be healthier it would be a bad idea because the students wouldn’t eat, they would get upset at the school, and they would dread coming to school.
Students would not eat lunch if they changed the food to a healthier content. If they take out students favorite menu items then they will not eat lunch. If they take out students favorite menu items then they will not eat lunch. Although healthy foods would benefit students in many ways it will not help if they will not eat it. If we could get students to eat healthier that would be a break through, but we cannot just change it all of a sudden. We have to gradually change the lunch and make it healthier so kids will continue to eat. Some students might not get much to eat at home so when they come to school we need to make sure we have food they will like and will eat. On the behalf of myself I believe if schools start to use healthier ingredients many students will start to dread lunch time.
Students will begin to dread coming to school after the new lunch menu is changed. Students will start to pack their lunch and avoid eating school lunch all together. But the people that do not have anything to eat at home will be the ones that will suffer the most. They will have no choice to eat nasty foods that they do not like.
