Gun control in a waste of time and money. Gun control should not exist, because the person robbing the bank will still have a gun. Gun control will hurt the country more because the people who do bad things will still get guns. People say gun control is to help the people by protecting them from mass shootings and terrorists. It would do more harm than good because if no one has a gun except the shooter then a lot more people die. Gun control should not exist period. If the government limits gun sales it will not stop bad people from getting guns. They will go to non registered arms dealers which will have guns. There is almost as many guns as there are people. There is no way you can take all of the guns from everyone. Most people have more than one gun. The government could not take all the guns with out meeting resistance, riots, or protests. The problem with trying to take all the guns is that people will hide the guns, and not all the guns are registered. If the government tried to take all of the guns states would start seceding and it would be an another civil war. If one crooked cop or a corrupt military personal then you have guns right back on the streets and people still die. But if no one has a gun and it was a perfect world gun control would work, but it is not a perfect world.
