From the time I was an elementary school student, I have had affinity and involvement towards art. In high school, however, is where my interests in art blossomed. I allowed myself to be just that, myself. Art and more specifically graphic design have been an outlet for me. Every day there is new skill or technique I am curious about and have a desire to get better at. That's why I love art; you can never get tired of it. One day I could study about color theory and the next about how to digitally compose photos in Photoshop. My learning doesn't have to stop after I leave the classroom either. I believe that the most successful artists make use of the skills they learned in class but in order to have become the well-versed artists they are they had to go out and tirelessly work and work until they mastered those skills. …show more content…

I have been included in the Palate to Palette Youth Gallery in April 2016 for one of my digital art pieces. I have also involved with SkillsUSA and plan to compete at State and higher levels for Pin Design and T-Shirt Design. I am currently involved with an internship with the graphic design teacher at my school which includes, but not limited to, working with the school to create posters, t-shirts, and pamphlets. With this internship, I have also had to work one-on-one with clients in order to get the best results for them. I was recently able to volunteer my work to help my cross country team redesign their logo to produce a more modern and sophisticated look. I have also had the opportunity to get my work used by Snapchat in the Ringgold area multiple times for Geofilters, which is art that unlocks when at a certain
