Spain is heading towards a Golden Age
A Golden Age is a metaphor that refers to a time when great achievements were attained in the social, political, technological and economic sectors during civilizations. The Spanish society has had a very big influence over every part of the world. Today, Spain is on the verge of a second golden age given that it has influence over other continents in the world economically, culturally, politically and socially and technologically. Artistic and Intellectual Achievements
Spanish culture is packed with traditional music and dances. When turning on the radio it is not uncommon to hear the Spanish influence through songs. According to the article Spanish Music and Dance artists like Joaquin Sabina, David Bisbal, Luz Casal, Alejandro Sanz and Julio Iglesias “fill the radio with Latin rhythms and Spanish pop music.” A song more commonly known to us here in the United States would be Despacito with Spanish influences included in the song. Despacito is now playing on every pop radio station at some point within the day. Spain’s most commonly known dance would be the Flamenco.
