Going to college can be good and bad for you. College Students and parents do not think that going to college is worth the money that they have to pay. Some people do not even have enough money to go to college, so what are the people that do not have enough money for college supposed to do for a living? College has good attributes to it also though.

Going to college isn’t that important because you can find other jobs to do that don't require a college degree. The author of source A states that “somebody has to actually do things, like unclog our toilets and build our houses”. If everybody goes to college, then they will not have anybody to do simple jobs. There are other jobs out there that do not need a college degree that pay good money. In source E it states that “Peter Thiel, a co-founder of PayPal, will pay 24 winners of the Thiel fellowship 100,000 dollars not to go to college for 2 years and developed business ideas instead”. When students do this they do not have to worry about college debt. In source E it states that “Students today are taking on more debt, and recently tightened bankruptcy laws make it more difficult to shake that debt, and the factors make higher education a risky investment”.” Adults who did attend a four year college believe that on average they are earning 20,000 dollars a more a year than if they had not gotten a degree”. From source F the writer states that “a majority of Americans say the higher education systems in the United States fails to provide students with good value for the value for the money they and their parents spent”.
