A battle royale game is a game where you play until one person or one team of players are left so you basically play to death. Solo, a solo game in Fortnite is every person for themselves. Duo, a duo game mode is two people playing with each other. Duos have up to 50 teams in each game. Squads, Squads are 4 person team working together to get the #1 victory royale (WIN).
