Foragers Vs Early Farmers

285 Words1 Page

One main difference between foragers and early farmers is that foragers were nomadic in nature. Their lifestyle consisted of frequently moving around from one place to another to obtain their food. Hunter gatherers lived in small groups and supported themselves by hunting animals and gathering plants to eat. Foragers had no permanent residence or dwelling and would find natural shelters, like caves or build temporary shelters out of leaves, branches, stones and skin. Because of their lack of a stable shelter, they regularly faced danger as they were exposed to the elements. Early farmers worked harder and for longer periods than foragers. Unlike the hunter gathers, Neolithic farmers stayed in one region as they waited for their crops to mature
