It can become a cheating device to help a few get a unfair advantage on assignments. Finally, it can have a good use such as being a useful tool in an emergency. Phone can be a blessing and a curse in schools, it can be used during an emergency and can also have downsides like being a cheating device and a distraction. Some people think that students should be allowed to use their phone because they think they have important uses, like a calculator and emergency device. They think that they can be used as calculators if they do not have one, and they can also be used as an emergency device. They are wrong, most teachers have calculators and they are cheap, and schools have multiple ways of contacting the outside in an emergency. Calculators are in most classrooms that the teachers have bought, and schools have phones and fire alarms in case of an emergency.
