Soccer, is more than a sport and more than a hobby, soccer is life! Soccer is the king of sports all over the world. It's my childhood hobby, I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old. My mother says that I've always like kicking the ball into the net. Since then soccer has always been my hobby and my lifestyle. I remember my dad always watching soccer news every night before going to bed. I like playing soccer because you have to have skill, speed and strategy. You need to have skill because when someone is coming at you when you have the ball you have to come up with a way to keep them away from the ball so they don’t steal it. You need speed because when you are running to the other team's goal you need to do it fast before they can do anything to stop you. Soccer also got me out of trouble when I was playing. My friends would invite to go out I would say “sorry I’m going to play soccer” and thank god I didn’t because they were mostly up to no good. I was a little bad and good kid but the love of the sport keep me together and made me realize many great things. I had a lot of hard times in my life that put a frown on my face and I would cry, soccer took that side of me out and put a smile right on my face. Gave me strength I needed and at the end of the day I would leave out the field with courage.
