Ever since I can remember I wanted to be in the medical field. It started off as an ambulance driver than a predication to now a family nurse practitioner. There are many reasons for me wanting to be all three of these but the one reason that is within all of them is the fact that I would not only get to care for people who are in a vulnerable state but also to have a chance to make an impact on their life. I am lucky that God has showed me that nursing is what I want to do at an early age because now I can put my whole heart into doing something that I know I am supposed to be doing and something that I love. Nursing is something I think you have to fully go in with a whole heart and start each day with a positive mind set. I want to be able to make people feel safe and comforted when they come in just like I did when I was in and out of the hospital in high school. …show more content…

A part of me isn’t for sure where the Lord will lead me as a nurse practitioner but missions have been heavy on my heart lately when I think about my future. No matter where God puts me I am excited to finally be able to use my knowledge and skills that I have been learning and share them with the world. Not only that but I hope to show the love of Christ through my actions and by helping them. Attending the Scott and White school of Nursing here at UMHB would be something I have always dreamed of. This school offers so much that I value and believe in and getting admitted will be just the beginning of God’s plan for my life ahead. With excellent faculty that truly cares about our success and an excellent facility’s I know this is the school for me. Thank you for letting me have the opportunity to apply and to show you my drive to become a nurse and to get into this nursing
