Makenzie Schlie On October 19, 1967 in Rockford, IL a man named Robert John Schlie Jr was born. His Parents names were Robert Schlie Sr and Mildred Schlie. His dad Robert Schlie Sr was born on January 17, 1931 and died on July 23, 2004. His mom died of cancer. Some big things that were happening when he was born were that year Mariner 5 flew by Venus and Marten Luther King Jr was killed. There was one thing that Robert said shaped his life when he was little. He moved a lot so he still to this day hates moving. He had a big family, too. They were not wealthy but not poor. Let's say they would go for days with not eating. When he got older, he stayed in Dubuque. In 2017, he moved to Cuba City close by Dubuque. He had two kids with Connie and their names are Robert/Robby and Elizabeth. Then, he got married to Heather, my mom, and had seven more kids named Heaven, Hannah, Makenzie, Madyson, Noah, Noelle, and Malachi. In 2016, he separated from Heather, but they are not done with the divorce. Even though his parents were not the best, he loved them. So, the biggest events in his life is when they died. Mostly his mom's death made him sad. When his mom was in the hospital dying, he was in a different place. He said he could not watch her die, so he did not. Therefore, he said this shaped his life. He never quit anything when he could keep going; he tried to be a good parent. He said his mistakes are that he got married twice. He said the only good thing that came from that is his kids. He said he is never getting married again. He said he loved them at first, but he did not after a while. That is why he did not stay married.
