I don 't know what 's worst about being the a red head; the fact that every thinks you 're low tempered and soulless, or the fact that you 're easiest to spot. It was the last week of summer when I spoke to him again. That would 've been the first time in two years. You would think talking to someone who you haven 't talked to in such a long time would be a special and heart-warming, but no, no- seeing Grayson was the opposite. My hair was in it 's usual mane of curls since Jennifer was too lazy to deal with it, my nails were painted black and my eyes were decorated with eyeliner, mascara, and a light blue eye shadow. My outfit was pretty simple. I had chosen to wear a dark blue halter top with my favorite pair of ripped black skinny jeans, and my black converse. When we finished getting dressed, I wrote a note to my mother, telling her I was going to be out, and got into Jenn 's car. The drive to my other best friend, Dylan 's house wasnt that long. Only about ten minutes. The drive to his house was comfotably silent. The kind of comfortable silence that surrounds you when you are around someone you love. Every now and then, I 'd catch Jenn staring at him through her rear-view mirror, but like I mentioned earlier, Dylan 's pretty oblivious so obviously he didn 't catch her.
