“Happiness is a mental or emotional state of well-being defined by positive or pleasant ranging contentment to intense joy…”. When you think of happiness what do you think? What's your definition of happiness? Do you think money can buy happiness? Nowadays, there’s nothing money can’t buy. They are many different views on this topic but I believe that money doesn't buy happiness directly but brings it.

Happiness may not be achieved the same way for all the people, but surely somehow money can help achieve the happiness whom people are looking for. One element that we need to have to be happy is memories. According to Dan Gilbert, a Harvard University psychology professor, he states,”Spend your money on experiences...Materials things, even if they’re expensive...tend to lose their luster after a while, literally and figuratively”. A close analysis of this quote suggests that investing more money on things like moments will make you a happier person since memories don’t die away. Now this does not mean that buying material things does not make you happy but there’s a slight chance that these feelings are temporary. It brings stress, relationships problems, hunger, financially struggling, bad health and so on. People will not carry these problems on their backs with a smile on their face.
