Everyone living on this earth has a different idea or view about what beauty means, and what is beautiful. There are many beautiful things in this world. From the people that inhabit the earth, to the creations and inventions humans have produced, to the way that humans behave. Everyone sees beauty as something different, whether it's love and loving one another, or kindness, or even a specific person, place or thing. Defining beauty was difficult for me at first, but once I began to think about it, I understood it a little bit more. Beauty to me is something that is typically visually attractive, but also sensually pleasing. I see the beauty of nature primarily through color and scent. The radiant colors of the wild flowers growing alongside the path in the woods, the vivid reds and yellows of the leaves on the trees when the weather gets cool, the way the light catches the lustrous white snowfall. Others however, may identify beauty through the rebirth of life and how even when sometimes plants may die, a new life form can grow back in its place. Everywhere you look, there is beauty solely within the sensual characteristics of nature. The smell of the warm summertime at the beach, or freshly mowed grass, the scent of the cool fall breeze and the leaves, and the aroma of the freshly bloomed flowers, or the air after it rains. They are so beautiful, that we try to mimic those same fragrances, and try to mix them with oils and wax for us to light on fire, or to suppress it into an aerosol can to be sprayed around out homes. These sensuous properties are so pure that they cannot be replicated, because then they are no longer the natural things we know.
