Dance-Personal Narrative

As I started falling to the ground during my bad leg side leap, I remembered what my sister had told me when we first learned our dance. “I did my bad leg last year, it’s your turn this year! You have to do it!” I hit the ground with a thud and landed on my foot weirdly, but I just got back up and continued the dance.
“Are you okay?” Asked my dance teacher.
“Yeah!” I said, even though it felt like a boulder had landed on my foot.
As I continued the dance my foot started hurting more and more. Everything I did hurt. Maybe I just twisted it badly. So I danced through the pain, even though I felt like crying.
After my sister and I finished our dance I looked at the clock. It read 4:59. I was relieved when I saw we only had a minute left.
“That was good,” Said our dance teacher, “I’ll see you guys later for class. You’re done!” …show more content…

As I tried to walk I resisted the urge to cry. I hobbled to my mom trying to look like I was walking normal. As we were walking out of the studio my mom looks at me and says, “Are you okay?” “Yeah. I just hurt my foot after one of my jumps. I hope it will get better before ballet.” I replied. “When we get back home I can put my oils on it.” My mom said. Of course, the oils will save the day!
