Article: Be a better version of yourself #Be productive. When I say, “be productive”, it doesn’t mean putting off the high priority task to complete the trivial small task just to say that you have done a lot of things and you were productive. Think about it, the sooner you do your coursework the more you’ll have time later and less stressful for your nerves. #Stop Overthinking. Overthinking kills happiness as they say. Overthinking actually creates more problems as it magnifies unimportant inconveniences into colossal disasters. But if you did follow the first step, you shouldn’t even over think at all as you were too busy doing useful things with your time. #Let it go. Change things that bother you. If you tried everything in your ability to change it, but you were unable to do so, then let it go. However planning the appropriate plan of action in your head and not executing it does count as trying. There is no need to hover and cultivate negative thoughts, that will only hinder you from success and happiness. #Don’t chase Perfection. Perfection is boring. It is impossible to be ‘perfect’. Everyone has a flaw. Even though some of us have definitely more flaws than the other. For argument’s sake, let us claim that you are perfect, then what else do you need to do? There is nothing to improve on; you are going to be predictable. Who wants to be with someone who is predictable and bland? #Make mistakes. With that being said, it is certainly okay to make mistakes, once in a while. Greatest mistakes teach you the great lessons. Success is not measured by how many times you fall, but how you get up and pick up yourself. One of the festivals I have decided to promote the magazine is the North London Festival. There was a better attendance at the workshop events than in the showcasing type of events. By conducting a mini workshop on this kind of events not only empower students and advertises the magazine, but also a great way to discover students who exhibits flair for magazine production.
