...When she arrived home, her mother was on the couch watching TV. "Can I have a cookie?" Yollie asks sadly. The cookies were calling for her to sit down. Mrs. Monroe looks up from her show to see her daughter soaking wet and half the dye of her dress. "Are you ok mi hija?" Her mother asked in worry. "I'm ok mamá , I just want to get this dress off," Yollie explained. Once she got cleaned off, they both went back to the TV until both fell asleep. Yollie woke up around 1:30 am., she put a blanket on her mom and went back to sleep in her bed. She dreamt of what kind of freak Ernie would think she is. Would her mother let her stay home or make Yollie go back to the prison where she completely embarrassed herself? Next Morning Mrs. Monroe woke Yollie up with breakfast in bed. She only did this on special occasions because it took a good amount of money from their savings. Yollie woke up with the smell of bacon, eggs, and sausage that filled the room like furniture. "Mom, its not even my birthday yet," Yollie explained. "I made this for you because I know you feel terrible and red-faced," her mother admitted. Monroe left her daughter to eat her breakfast in peace in quiet. "Hey mom," Yollie shouted. "Do I have to go to school today?" Her mother said it would be fine.
